Three years ago, I did a 4-H project on the various types of bagel flavors I had made, and got a reserve champion (using the Danish method of judging). This year I did a demonstration, and got a blue. Since 4th grade (when I first shared it as a project at the fair) I have developed many other flavors, and I've decided to bring an updated version to the county fair as a 4-H project again this year. I hope I don't get a white! 😉 I am also hoping to enter my bagels in the junior open class department as well (if I have time to!)
